President’s Note

Greetings from the Jewel of the Delta!!! Thank you for visiting the website of the Forrest City Area Alumnae Chapter.

The Forrest City Area Alumnae Chapter was chartered in April 1986 by twelve dynamic women, who were committed to creating a rich legacy of academic achievement, personal and professional growth, and diligent service to those in St Francis County, Cross County, and Monroe County. The membership consists of over 50 diverse, dedicated, and dutiful women.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a service-oriented organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Since its founding, more than 250,000 women have joined the organization. The organization is a sisterhood of predominantly Black, college-educated women. The sorority currently has over 1,000 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and the Republic of Korea.

FCAA’s service projects are aligned with our Sorority’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust:

• Economic Development
• Educational Development
• International Awareness and Involvement
• Physical and Mental Health
• Political Awareness and Involvement

Forrest City Area Alumnae chapter follows in the footsteps of our Beloved Founders by remaining at the forefront of the action as a voice for those in need.  We welcome you to peruse our website, and please let us know how we can be of service to you.
